Obstacles overcame through FAITH

And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” Mark 5:34 (ESV)

Our daily lives most of the times drive us far from what we are called to do. God is giving us an everyday purpose to live but most of the time we neglect to understand and stand on it.
It’s hard to practice faith when we don’t see the real picture, when things don’t go on what we expect.

Every afternoon I need to go out from office to go home to nurse my baby, he is 2 months old now and his feeding grows more. Sometimes there are things beyond my expectations. I needed a daily transport to drop me home but one time the driver dropped me late and I needed to walk far from our building, summer here in Bahrain everyone can feel the heat. I was inside the car and thinking to catch the time because we have doctor’s appointment at 4.30pm for my baby’s vaccine. My mind is telling me to yell at the situation and I was starting to loss my temper. Thank God he dropped me earlier and we were able to catch the doctor’s appointment. My faith told me to believe that moment that we can reach before the time and we did.

Faith should go beyond our daily experiences. Our daily communications and interactions with other people will even call us to practice faith.  Even if I have faith but loss my temper due to interruptions of traffic and other unnecessary concerns I should have gone with arguments with the driver. But I hold myself and practice the patience to understand that he is also concern to bring me home safe and before the time I told him. If we end up with questions “why” then my day should have ended stressful and sad knowing that I failed to follow God’s word to maintain peace with everyone.
Faith knows that after all the daily routine and hard tasks you have time to sit down, relax and laugh with your family and friends. Faith involves peace, healing and wellness.

Today, I choose to practice faith in my relationship and work. Daily I need to mention my prayers in order to stand and carry out my responsibilities as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend and an employee. Nothing seems to be easy but when God is beside me I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

When we practice meditating the word of God, our thoughts will not wander and it will keep us calm and be composed.

Live Life

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qc0r_0Af4FU

I used to think that Future is SCARY..

Future means a condition, especially of success or failure, to come.
Why SCARY.. because it calls for a decision making. Decision that might break or make an individual.

When I was young. I had a lot of questions. I know you are too. I started asking why not I was born with a golden spoon, or an artist and a lot... Thinking why I did not grow up with my father. I couldn't ask my mom, because she was so busy to work for our family, as a single parent I saw how she spent her strength to strive in order to put foods in our table.

Painful childhood, I haven't got a chance to play with her and experienced much of her time at home because she used to be outside working for us.

Once in our lives we will remember our childhood. Painful or Happiness, but just like mine, you will also ask why.

I started accepting the situation we have at home when I understand that without her working hard for us we will not eat and education will not be possible. I was not privileged with so many things that time, so at my young mind I created what will be my future will look like. I allow my thoughts to travel. I started reading inspirational magazines, books and even watched videos. I cried with the scenes, the scripts and the theme songs.

Future now for me is my present. I am reaping what I had sowed yesterday and enjoying it. Tears and suffering cant be remembered anymore but a marked of memories that is inspiring me more to LIVE LIFE to the fullest. God made me understand that even the hardest and saddest part of our lives can be our future career and happiness. It is when you learned to accept that what you acted yesterday cannot be recalled and rewind anymore, we are scanned according to what we truly are.

Scripture says:

James 4:13-17

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

I hope I made you remember your childhood memories, not to make you sad but to inspire you that there are so many moments to cheer up, and what we have now... SPEND THE MOST OF IT with God, family, friends and workmates while the real video is moving fast (time) 24 hours is in OUR HANDS..
